Mountain Terrain – GAEA Procedural Generation
For this mountainous terrain, I employed GAEA’s node-based system to sculpt detailed landscapes that reflect the rugged beauty of nature. By using erosion and sediment deposition nodes, I was able to create realistic valleys and cliffs that are both visually captivating and navigable in gameplay. The procedural workflow allowed me to iterate quickly, adjusting terrain features based on gameplay needs while maintaining the organic flow of the landscape. The final terrain was brought into Unreal Engine for additional texture work and optimization.

Urban Environment – Horizon Z: Buried Cityscape
This city environment was created using procedural content generation in Blender, allowing for the quick generation of urban layouts and detailed architecture. The city, partially buried under layers of sand, represents the decayed remnants of a post-apocalyptic world. I utilized node-based tools to generate randomized building placements, ensuring a natural and organic feel to the landscape. Lighting in Unreal Engine plays a key role in highlighting the desolation, with a mix of sun-scorched surfaces and deep shadows that enhance the eerie, abandoned atmosphere.

Urban Environment – Wastedland
This environment depicts a desolate, eerie wasteland illuminated by a striking red moon. The scene captures the haunting beauty of a world abandoned to time, where jagged, lifeless trees stand against a twilight sky. The cracked earth and scattered rocks enhance the sense of isolation, while the path suggests a journey through an unforgiving, barren landscape.

Rendered using a low-poly aesthetic, this scene reflects the mood of a post-apocalyptic world where nature has long since decayed. The composition creates an atmosphere of surreal calm, juxtaposed with the harshness of the environment. The red moon adds a dramatic focal point, symbolizing an otherworldly presence or catastrophe that has transformed this land. This project demonstrates my focus on atmosphere and world-building, emphasizing storytelling through environment design.
